Why I do this

I didn’t hire a full planner for my own wedding—and I now know what I missed. I spent too much time managing the details, navigating family dynamics, and holding emotional weight instead of actually soaking in the moment. It stayed with me.

When I planned my first wedding professionally as a new mom—tired, unsure, but driven—I remembered how good it felt to help someone else feel seen, supported, and at peace. That’s when I knew: this is what I’m meant to do.

I started Eventful by Pooja so couples like you could feel supported, understood, and excited—knowing someone is holding both the heart and the details.

I’m a South Asian woman married into a different cultural background, raising a family while building a business that values empathy, clarity, and celebration. I know what it’s like to hold many identities at once—and I create space for my couples to do the same.
