Ways we can work together.

Tailored planning “kits” rooted in culture, clarity & calm

- Brittany + Caleb

“…Pooja was very calm under pressure and made our special day as seamless as possible. There is so much planning and decisions made leading up to a wedding that it can be hard to actually enjoy the big day. I can honestly say that I trusted Pooja wholeheartedly and had the best wedding day ever. I highly recommend Pooja for your wedding or event!”

You’ll stay in the driver’s seat for creative decisions while I provide structure, vetted resources, and guidance behind the scenes, so you never have to plan alone.

Because thoughtful planning starts with clarity.

  • Not at all. I specialize in multicultural weddings: interfaith, multiracial, and everything in between. Many of my couples come from different cultural or religious backgrounds and want a wedding that feels cohesive, meaningful, and true to who they are. Whether you’re blending traditions or creating something entirely new, I’ll help you bring it together in a way that feels seamless and personal.

  • I’m based in Sacramento and serve couples throughout Northern California, including the Bay Area, Napa, Sonoma, and beyond. I also take on a limited number of destination weddings each year for full-service clients. Whether you're planning a celebration close to home or across the globe, I’m happy to travel wherever your story takes you.

  • Yes! I take on a limited number of full-service multicultural weddings each year, and I also offer month-of wedding coordination for couples across Northern California, including Sacramento, San Francisco, Napa, and the greater Bay Area. If you're not sure what level of support is right for you, I’ll help you figure out the best fit based on your needs, timeline, and vision.

  • For full-service planning, most couples book 12–18 months in advance, especially if you're aiming for a popular venue or peak season. For month-of coordination, 6–9 months out is ideal. That said, if your wedding is sooner and you think we’re a good fit, don’t hesitate to reach out.

  • Definitely. You don’t need to have everything figured out before we start. Many of my couples are busy professionals, navigating family dynamics or cultural layers, and aren’t sure where to begin. My role is to help you get clear on what matters most and guide you through the process with care and intention.

  • Yes, always. I believe love is love and every couple deserves to be celebrated with respect, care, and joy. My planning process is inclusive, affirming, and grounded in kindness.

  • Supportive, organized, collaborative—and deeply personal. I’m calm under pressure, clear in communication, and fully committed to making sure your wedding feels like a reflection of you. I cap the number of weddings I take each year so I can give every client the focus and presence they deserve.

  • Yes…but not in the way you might think. What most couples call “day-of coordination” actually starts weeks before the wedding. Without that prep time, too many details can slip through the cracks. A coordinator ensures everything runs smoothly, so you can actually enjoy your day instead of managing logistics.

  • “Day-of” is often misunderstood…it implies someone shows up only on the wedding day. In reality, effective coordination starts at least 4–8 weeks prior. Month-of coordination includes vendor communication, timeline creation, final walkthroughs, and all the groundwork necessary for seamless execution.

  • I recommend booking at least 6–12 months in advance, especially for high-demand dates in San Francisco, Napa, and Sonoma. While my services begin 2 months prior to the wedding, securing your spot early ensures you’re on my calendar and have peace of mind.
